Stillness now surrounds my windswept heart A quiet calm prevails where you once blew Within its depths a thread links to the start from here to where our journey was brand new
It weaves and twists and swirls in disarray holding all the memories together The hurricane that carried us away bound in silk, embossed like gold on leather
Our story rode a wild and stormy front drenching us in passion’s swollen waves A stream of raw emotions bore the brunt of tides that flooded all those inner caves
In solitude I fondly reminisce Nothing ever could come close to this…

"Laura is such a talented photographer. She truly has a gift for unique and classic photo opportunities.
Her eye has never lead us astray and has created amazing and beautiful pictures.
She did our engagement pictures and when we saw them, we knew she had to be at our wedding, too!
It has been a pleasure and a blessing to get to work with Laura, and her husband as a second photographer for the wedding.
We recommend and encourage anyone to use Naturally Lovely Photography to capture the most important moments in life!"

I have been dreaming of a bride with a birdcage veil, so when I saw that Lindsey had one my heart fluttered a little. She made her veil herself and it turned out so perfect!
Lindsey’s gorgeous dress was made by her grandmother and worn by her mother on her wedding day. I love that!
Lindsey’s broach was her grandmothers and her something borrowed.
Nate bought Lindsey’s vintage ring at an antique store and he held onto it for nine months before proposing!
Lindsey and Nate had an evening wedding so we had this gorgeous light to take pictures in.
Don’t know how it is You looked at me
And saw the person that I could be
Awakening my heart
Breaking through the dark
Suddenly Your grace
Like sunlight burning at midnight
Making my life something so
Beautiful, beautiful
Mercy reaching to save me
All that I need
You are so
Beautiful, beautiful
Now there’s a joy inside I can’t contain
But even perfect days can end in rain
And though it’s pouring down
I see You through the clouds
Shining on my face
I have come undone
But I have just begun
Changing by Your grace
The most wonderful of all things in life is the discovery of another human being with whom one’s relationship has a growing depth, beauty and joy as the years increase. This inner progressiveness of love between two human beings is a most marvelous thing; it cannot be found by looking for it or by passionately wishing for it. It is a sort of divine accident, and the most wonderful of all things in life.
“Love is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion. That is just being “in love” which any of us can convince ourselves we are. Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident. Your mother and I had it, we had roots that grew towards each other underground, and when all the pretty blossom had fallen from our branches we found that we were one tree and not two.” -St. Augustine
More pictures of this gorgeous couple are coming soon!!!!
I woke up this morning with the fresh coolness of the early summer breeze flowing through my window, washing over my face and listening to the most beautiful sounds the leaves made, flickering together in the wind. My cat, who is always waiting patiently every morning for me to wake up, was curled in a warm fuzzy ball at my feet. As soon as he knew I was awake he purred his way up to my chest and plopped down, tickling my face with his long white whiskers. So sweet. I woke up to find a note on a little piece of torn yellow paper taped to my computer from Billy saying, you are my summer Laura, I love you so much. As I opened the lap top the screen was filled with the most beautiful poem that he had written before going to work. So sweet!
I wake up to the glow of another beautiful day
Your smile warms me to the core
I long to embrace you as though I don’t want
the season to ever change
You are my summer
I want to swim in your green eyes
Refresh myself in the love in your stare
I get lost in your breeze that gives me life
You are my summer
I feel as though you were made just for me
A way to remind me how beautiful God’s creation is
